Trysome

Objective

Establish/build a Project Management Office (PMO) that will place Trysome at the forefront of collision avoidance technology in Southern Africa. The target market was to be the mining industry, supporting the safety rules of the government. This department would have its own engineers, technicians, administration, logistics and management staff. It would run completely detached to the rest of the company with its own support vehicles and tooling.

All staff will receive specialist training from the product supplier in Switzerland to install, inspect, fault find and analysis vehicle reporting errors/incidents

Product sales will be linked to a support structure ensuring business after installation is completed.

All software and hardware upgrades to be built into the contract that Trysome is the sole supplier otherwise product performance guarantees will be null and void.

Total staff compliment after 18 months was 60 people, where the PMO had 10 permanent staff. The rest of the staff spread across Botswana and the South African region.

85% of all South African mines and 100% of the diamond mines in Botswana were contracted into Trysome Risk Technologies PMO to supply and support anti-collision mining systems.
